David Cameron's bike stolen..

Why you need bike insurance!
OMG, have just read this story about David Cameron's bike being stolen (BBC London) from Portobello Road so not far from me, yikes!
Conservative leader David Cameron says his bicycle was stolen after he left it locked outside a supermarket while he shopped near his home in west London. He was at a Tesco branch on Portobello Road when the bike - which he joked was "an old friend" - disappeared.
"Someone must have picked it up and walked off with it", he said.
"If anyone has seen this bicycle, I would like it back," he added. "I've eeported it online... but I'm not holding my breath."
Mr Cameron said he had been "picking up a few bits of salad" when the theft occurred at about 1800 BST on Wednesday.
His spokeswoman added the Tory leader was "annoyed" and "pretty hacked off" at what had happened.
A spokesman for Tesco would not go into details about the theft.
"Although we are very sorry to hear about David Cameron's misfortune, we cannot comment on incidents which happen outside our stores," he said.
Tom Bogdanovich of the London Cycling Campaign said he hoped the theft would not discourage Mr Cameron from using his bike.
The case highlighted the need for a greater number of secure cycle stands in London, he added.
Mr Cameron and his bike have had a high profile since he became Conservative leader three years ago.
His entire journey by bike to the House of Commons after becoming leader was broadcast live, filmed from above by news helicopters.
His bicycle was back in the news the next year as he faced Labour attacks on his green credentials after it was revealed that an official car followed him carrying his briefcase.
And in March Mr Cameron apologised after the Daily Mirror photographed him on his bike ignoring red lights and cycling the wrong way up a one-way street.

Anne Darwin sentenced

Has anyone read the story about the canoeist and his wife? Just read on BBC London that they've been sentenced to 6 years and 3 months and 6 years and 6 months.

Now not that they killed anyone but I thought that they would have been sentenced to longer, that was a large scale deception!

So on that note....Anyone looking for life insurance?

Life

As you may have seen from my previous post blog readers, I am on a conscious eating tip right now. So to add to my conscious eating I am contemplating health and life insurance…you know plan for the future and all that jazz!
Upon my quest to achieve my goals for the week I found a few sites that do really good deals on insurances, particularly the ones I am after.

So check these links out, if you’re on the planning for the future tip that I am currently on.

I don’t really know what’s come over me, but I like it!
It’s like I am *shock horror* maturing lol!

Healthy eating

On Monday I made a conscious decision and actually decided I was going to go through with my d**t. I’ve cut out junk, and have been jogging twice this week (this is good for me- I don’t run…EVER), did some yoga last night and I am drinking only water.
I am not calling it a diet, which is why I starred out the word the first time. Diet just spells disaster. It is closely followed by failure, cravings and the eventual thought of ‘why did I bother?’
I think this is why I have made it to day 5 and actually lost my appetite for junk in the process and I think my stomach has shrunk- long gone are the large portions and chocolate treats. It is only day 5 and I don’t want to get too ahead of myself but like an addict I need to take it one day at a time. I do actually feel better, less sluggish and looking to the future of a redused waistline- upper body only needs to be shifted.

But day 5 is progress and I am considering treating myself it was going to be a strawberry smoothie solero with only 90 calories, but now it’s a dress!

Hi

Hi fellow bloggers, reader and anons!

Its been while but I've decided to step back in to the blogging arena. I am a happy go lucky and sometimes a bit too real Londoner with a lot to say.

It has been a while since I last wrote a blog....due to unforeseen circumstances ermm cough *lazyness* cough I left it for a while. But I now have come to the conclusion that I need to write blogs, they provide me with a release and allow me to explore my inner jounro a bit further.

This will be a short but sweet blog, and hopefully the future's bright and I'll keep it up.

Cosmo chick over and out
